14+ days before travel
100% refund
Full refund of all amounts paid, including any advance.
7 – 13 days before
50% refund
Half of the booking total is refunded — the rest covers supplier hold charges.
3 – 6 days before
25% refund
Limited refund — most hotels and transport partners block dates by this point.

No refund possible. We can usually help reschedule the trip for a small fee.
1. Standard cancellation slabs
Our standard refund slab is shown in the cards above. The cut-off is calculated from the start date of your trip, in IST (Asia/Kolkata).
- 14+ days before travel: 100% refund of all paid amounts.
- 7–13 days before: 50% refund.
- 3–6 days before: 25% refund.
- 0–48 hours before / no-show: Non-refundable.
2. Special-rate & non-refundable bookings
Discounted promotional rates, festive packages, and certain houseboat / heli-ski experiences may be marked non-refundable at the time of booking. The package page and your invoice will clearly state this — please re-check before payment.
3. How to cancel
- Email us at bookings@shateetatour.com from your registered email, or open a cancellation ticket from your account dashboard.
- Include your booking ID and reason — required for partial-refund insurance claims.
- You’ll receive a confirmation within 24 hours, with the refund amount and timeline.
4. Refund timeline
Refunds are initiated within 48 hours of approval. The amount typically reflects in your account within 5–7 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. International refunds may take up to 14 days.
5. Date changes & rescheduling
One-time date change is free if requested 14+ days before travel and subject to availability for the new dates. Any difference in seasonal pricing is payable. After the 14-day window, supplier rebooking fees may apply.
6. Force majeure (lockdowns, weather, disruptions)
For trip disruptions caused by reasons outside our control — government restrictions, natural disasters, severe weather, civil unrest, airline strikes — we offer full credit notes usable within 18 months. Cash refunds in these cases follow the supplier’s policy.
7. Modifications by us
If we need to modify your itinerary materially (e.g. hotel change to a comparable property), we’ll notify you in writing. You may either accept the change or cancel for a full refund.
